How online discourse networks fields of practice: The discursive negotiation of autonomy on art organisation about pages

Abstract This article examines how the online discourse of art organisations forges relationships between artworld and fields politics economy. Combining elements Pierre Bourdieu’s field analysis Norman Fairclough’s critical analysis, analyses an elite magazine, e-flux, museum, IMMA, activities discourses, genres, utterances on their about pages. Its results suggest that pages these forge links economy by mobilising in incorporating practices from fields. The ideological tension resulting this interdiscursivity was found to be managed different ways. thereby contributes furthering our understanding networks practice.
